Nancy Willard, director of Embrace Civility in the Digital Age, has been coordinating a private Google group that brought together educators, researchers, risk prevention professionals, educational technology professionals, school librarians, law enforcement and others to focus attention on digital citizenship and effective risk prevention and intervention in the digital age.
This group is publicly accessible. We would love you to join.

If you do not have a Google Groups account, it will be necessary to set this up first.
Guidelines
This group has been established to support professional discussions. Most specifically, this is not a group that can address specific difficulties that someone might be having. We cannot serve as a “back door” abuse reporting system for web sites.
You can access the group through email in regular or digest format on online. This is a high traffic group.
Please try to use a descriptive subject matter. This will allow people to research discussion threads later.
If responding to a message received as a digest, please include reference to the original message, and do not send the entire digest to the group.
Donations
As noted, Embrace Civility in the Digital Age is my assumed business name. I have donated a significant amount of my time in coordinating this Google group, which is benefiting its members and benefiting the entire field. If you feel that you, or your company, has benefited from this group, a modest donation to support my ongoing efforts in this outreach would be welcomed.
